Back-light on screen not working! NEED HELP.

I tried replacing my airport card on my mid mac-book 2010 13 inch model, I thought all went well until the back-light didn't work when I booted it up, I noticed because I torched the black screen with a light and saw the apple logo and everything but am not sure if i the inventor cable is not in rite or i messed up and blow a fuse on the board. This is frustrating as the repair for the airport card was I need your help guys. I tried SMC and PRAM resets maybe I didn't do them correctly who knows.
